Job Coaching
We provide job coaching support to individuals who are employed by various businesses throughout the Rogue Valley. Job coaching is a form of mentoring that helps employees with disabilities achieve their work goals and overcome any challenges they may face in the workplace. Job coaches provide individualized support, guidance, and feedback to help employees learn new skills, adapt to different tasks, and improve their performance and satisfaction.
Job coaching is not a one-time event but a continuous process that requires ongoing support and evaluation. The employee's performance, challenges, and achievements are monitored, and regular constructive feedback is provided.
The ultimate goal of job coaching is to help the employee with disabilities become more self-reliant and independent in their work. The job coach gradually reduces their level of support and guidance and empowers the employee to take more responsibility and initiative. This helps the employee develop their self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-evaluation skills. The job coach also helps facilitate the employee’s integration and inclusion in the workplace culture and social networks.
